Meet your teaching staff

I am a first year PhD student in Physics with the experimental particle physics research group, working on the Belle II experiment. This is my fifth year working as a computing tutor and 7th semester tutoring COMP10002. Outside of studies I spend my time indulging in Melbourne food and coffee, doing some baking, and working with the University of Melbourne Postgraduate Physics Society (PPSS).

Hey! I am a first year MSc student in Physics with the Experimental Particle Physics research group. When I’m not manipulating equations I’m usually manipulating videos - I am passionate about cinematography and have also been doing VFX, editing and 3D animation for a few years now. I also am a committee member of the Filmmakers Collaborative at Unimelb.

I studied a bachelor degree of science with a major in Electronic Engineering at Melbourne University in 2012. I currently work as a professional tutor and tour guide of Melbourne. I look forward to teaching you programming.

I am currently studying for a Bachelor of Science majoring in Data Science. I am interested in finance and machine learning, and I work part time as a software engineer. In my free time I enjoy cycling, reading and origami. I look forward to meeting you all this semester!

I’m currently a second year student intending on majoring in Pure Maths with a Diploma in Computing. In my spare time I like to play tennis, game, and sleep (which I’m putting off because of this - whoops). Looking forward to meeting you!

Hi, I’m Alex!! I’m currently in my final semester of my bachelor of science, actually majoring in Neuroscience, but I’ve taken computing subjects as (fun) electives. Outside of uni I love reading, playing sports and camping. Can’t wait to dive into some algorithms with you all!

Hi all! I completed my BSc in Computing and Software Systems in 2023 and this is my second semester as a TF for Foundations of Algorithms. FoA was my favorite subject, and I hope it becomes your favorite too. I also play the piano and am learning drums currently!

Hello! I’m Rose, a third year Pure Maths major. I’ve been teaching computer science for 2 years, while also working at the ERC library and in STEM outreach. I love socialising, going out for coffee or a meal, playing 500 with my friends, and listening to podcasts.
